To book a party, you must email us at to ensure your desired date is available. Failure to email us prior to purchasing this deposit may result in your desired date not being available. Reservations will not be refunded if you do not email us prior to purchasing and your date is taken.

In order to secure your date, you MUST submit the $50 reservation fee for a party held.

As the host(ess), YOU are responsible for inviting guests and making sure they register by your workshop deadline. We will check in to let you know how sign ups are going.

If you cancel or reschedule your party for ANY reason your deposit will be forfeited.

ONLY those who have registered can enter the studio, NO OTHER GUESTS may be allowed to attend unless they have registered. Everyone attending your workshop MUST BE 21 years of age or older if alcohol is present. 

Private Workshops will have access to our workshop for 3 hours on the date and time you have secured. Food and drinks are allowed in the studio. You will have access to the studio no earlier than 15 minutes prior if you wish to bring food, drinks, and/or decorations.

We require a minimum of 6 people for private parties to have your deposit refunded. If your party does not reach the 6 person minimum we will still hold your party but your deposit will not be refunded.

Once someone has registered and picked their design NO CHANGES can be made. Please make sure everyone understands this. Once your reservation has been paid, our workshop coordinator will send you our project portfolio to select your projects. We request you send your choices within five (5) days of receiving the portfolio so we can setup your event exclusive registration link.

    How to Register

    1. Choose your project and design options from the drop down menu.
    2. If applicable include any relevant personal information needed to complete your stencil such as name or date.
    3. Confirm and Agree to our policies and terms.
    4. Add to Cart and checkout.

    Cancellation Policy

    Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your project. We do not offer refunds.

    If you cannot attend the class you signed up for you can pick your project to take home, attend another workshop if available or come to an open studio.

    Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

    Guest Policy

    Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered
    guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public
    workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to

    This is a natural wood workshop, so your sign will have random cracks,
    chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
